Stollen Buns at Pitfield Barn on Wednesday 12th November
I love Stollen at Christmas time. These buns are a little more accessible than the large Stollen loaves eaten all over Germany. They are soaked with orange & spices with a perfectly formed ball of marzipan in the middle. The smell of these baking will bring Christmas to the barn. Once baked, they are coated in butter and dusted with icing sugar. Perfect for this season. They also freeze well and can be kept for later in the season.
