Stollen Bun Workshop

£95.00
Limit 4 per order

Stollen is deeply rooted in German tradition, dating back to the 14 th century in Dresden. The iconic oval shape, with the ridge of dough folding over the middle, is said to symbolise the baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling clothes. Stollen buns offer a convenient, individual serving, and I think they are as much fun to make. They are even better made a few days in advance, as this gives the flavours a chance to mature. So can be a handy Christmas bake to be made in advance. They freeze well and can be warmed up again in the oven
